Hello guys need abit of help last night the car developed a knocking sound I thought it was commig from the front left when I was braking hard but also wen u blip the throttle it makes it and when I let the clutch out quick it makes the clunk does anyone no a ruff Idea if it could be a gear box mout or some sort of mount

i would try the dogbone mount under the engine in the centre of the car first

It seems two be coming from the front left though I might just replace them both but sourcing them is hard eBay eurocp gsf etc

tps will have the gear box side mount or vibratechnics do an uprated one - i believe dark side sell them ? or tps for a genuine one
the dog bone check strap under the engine / box powerflex do a replacement bush which is easy to get hold of from most places 

larkspeed ( cross gates) and tps (near belle isle)  arent 2 far from you in leeds 

Ye just sit got a clue were to start I've been told it maybe the console bushes but there's powerflex ones cupra ones loads aha

Try dogbone mount id say. If your blipping the throttle while stationery the engine/box is moving? So the consoles wouldn't move? Or am I wrong.

I don't think it does it when stationary mate just wen moving braking hard blipping the throttle and changing gear

id go dogbone first .... console bushes are easily checkable by sticking your head under the car then you have 2 choices .... cupra or polybush 

Yeah as said go dogbone. As it'll still move when u do the above.

they have just super seeded drop links so hopefully the new style will last

Found the fault lads was the rear bush on the wishbone control arm is knackered so picking some cupra ones up tomoz and getting em fitted Friday if u want pictures go on my Instagram coley_vrs because I can't upload pics from my mobile
