service light

Featured Replies

last night the service light came on rather unannounced at just over 25k. also flashing oil at me. i wouldnt have thought ioit would have drank all the oil in only 5k seems a bit ott to me. or could it be they just didnt re set the service warnning when it got done. or could it be with the way i set off when it came on as it was quite harsh trying to get out onto the a74.

Was the car serviced 9k miles ago? If it was, it sounds like they just forgot to reset the service light. I don't think it's related to the level of oil in the car - your oil warning light would come on if it was that low :D
