Flickering Xenon (Update)

Featured Replies

Well after reporting my flickering headlights a few weeks back I have since fixed the problem.

Started the car xmas eve and noticed my nearside headlight was out.... so I switched slowly from auto to sidelights and then headlights and no luck.

After playing with on and off a couple of times I got the bulb to ignite and sure enough my "bulb out" warning light switched off so my thoughts went from a dodgy lecky fault to a duff bulb.

once warmed up it would come on just fine, and from cold but in the sun the other day it fired up so i started swapping ballasts and bulbs around and it seamed to be that bulb.

I also spotted that it had a "pinkness" to it once lit up  and after a quick search for pink bulbs in here  I decided to purchase these buggers

been in two days now and all flickering has stopped and no problems since fitment.

and before anyone asks, 6000k is as high as I would go and to be honest they look at very oem. Happy me!

yeah i was gonna stick with 4300K but I have had LED sidelights in for ages and they have always been a tad whiter, but now I match.

6000k bulbs fitted with my white led sidelights.

Looks good. Which LEDS are they? The. Few that I've tried never last very long.
