Stage 1 remap. Induction kit or not?

Featured Replies

Folks. Thoughts please.

Stage 1 remap getting done on my Octy Vrs TFSI in 2 weeks time. Should I fit an Induction kit along with the remap, or not bother as it will make no difference.

If it will make any difference what will it be? (Bhp, noise etc)

Cheers :)

This is the one I have fitted.

There is also the EVOMS intake, which is regarded as the best for the 2.0 TFSI engine. However it is almost £100 more, and the P-Flo will do just as well; in theory they are just both filters on sticks.

What I prefer on the P-Flo however is that it is 1 solid pipe down to the turbo (with a rubber connection to the turbo). This means very little chance of air leaks. If I remember correctly all the other (including the EVOMS) are made up of a few joining pipes (may make no difference but I prefer it).
