People who fitted A1 interior seats etc

Featured Replies

Hi,

Were the fronts just a direct bolt in, ie remove old seats complete with sliders/mounts and fit these?

And also how were the rears fitted?

Just wondering, how they were fitted?

Cheers

The fronts are a straight fit, but the rears need fabrication

I did a thread on fitting A1 interior, try a search :)

Looks like quite a lot of work to get the rears in.

Coskev obviously has some experience modifying stuff!

I love the throwaway line - "I just welded the vRS bottoms onto the Audi frames".

I think the way to do this might be to get the fronts from the A1 then get the whole lot done by Seat Surgeons so they match. I quite fancy the lumbar adjustment on the fronts. And knowing Audi, you can probably get them in fully electric as well.

Yeah it was a few hours work, and yeah I have been bodging about with cars for 20 years :)

But, it was the first time I've stripped a seat down like that to modify it.

Downside to the higher spec A1 seats is that they have S-LINE embossed in the leather, so it stands out that they have been changed.
