hello guys.

i just bought a DVR camera (mobius)

and i want to hide the cable across the roof line through the A pillar and to the charger socket.

 

i managed to hide the cable in the roof by simply pushing it inside,

but how can i open the A pillar cover? does it connect with clips only or screws?

Pull off the door seal around the A-pillar trim. Use a trim removal tool to prise the trim away carefully working from the top down. There are only three spring clips holding it in place. Refitting is a reversal of removal etc

Clips only - needs a lot of force to pop them off so be careful

Can lever off by hand.  Takes a fair effort but they will just PING off in the end.  Just trim clips holding them.

I was looking at that bit in the Workshop Manual the other day, otherwise I'd have said 'yank the biatch off'

As above, you don't need to remove the door seal though. You can pull it off with your hands if you out your fingers in. Start at the top.
