Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible for the Fabia vRS OEM cd-changer to be fitted at the dealership/privately or is it only available at the time of factory build.

I bought my vRS brand new but it was a showroom model and I obviously had to take it with the spec it had but would quite like to add the changer in under the front passenger seat which I believe is where it would go.

You can get one fitted by the dealer. It goes under the passenger seat OR in the boot

It can be done quite easily, but you need to take the seat out, held in with four bolts.(use the proper tool though to save knackering the bolts) as the fitting kit screws on beneath the seat.

The parts you will need are two small brackets, four screws and the trim plate for the lower front seat.

The part numbers are already on another thread, just do a search

Does that mean that the necessary cabling between the head unit and under the seat is already in place or will I have to get in behind the dash and the head unit etc?
