revs rise when changing gear

Featured Replies

Anyone experienced this? Revs increase by around 500 rpm when making quick gear changes. Am sure i am depressing the clutch in time with lifting off the gas. Have been driving for 30 years and never had this happen on any other car. Am i right in thinking the clutch pedal has a switch to cut rpm when changing gear?

Car is a vrs tfsi

Cheers

Not experienced this but have certainly heard it can be symptomatic of the clutch switch needing some attention
