Finally got round to fitting it, after umming and arring about getting a boss. Finally took the plunge and did it.

Now a few questions if people could help;

Is there a way to turn off the airbag light, like a wire or something you can connect it so it cancels it or can I code it out?

Also with the horn do I need another wire as I had to remove the steering sensor/clock thingy to have it too fit.

I know I've lost self cancelling indicators but that's minor lol.

I find it nicer to drive with as you feel

the road more feel a little more in control instead of the standard one.

 Air bag, 2.2 ohm resistor connected to the air bag wires and then a reset of your fault codes, simples. 

 

 Horn, you can buy on to fit the steering wheel centre, I got this off Krissthemiller but am unsure about it as it quite thin, so might swap it for a different one.

 

Looks nice! Probably even better in your car with bucket seats, I imagine it would look a bit too much in a standard Fabia, I've been after a new wheel for a while!

Sweet mate, you dont happen to have a link at all? And will do that with the mapper when i see him!

And yeah need to buy the horn off ebay, doesnt cost much, so will do that when i get round to it lol!

I just bought a resistor from Maplin for about 60p, or you can buy an air bag delete kit of the likes of Awesome for £15 and it is the same thing!!!

 

 

They also have them on Ebay and are already to install where the airbag was removed from HERE
