Hubcentric spacers

Featured Replies

What are people's opinions on hubcentric spacers. They are either bolt on or bolt through. Which is best.

I like the idea of the bolt through ones as you are still bolting the wheel onto the hub as opposed to the bolt on ones where the wheel will be bolted to the aluminum spacer.

Which ones are people using and which do you prefer?

Thanks.

Personally like yourself i prefer the bolt theough type

Imo they are more substantial.

The bolt to hub then bolt wheel to spacer ones scare me a bit as most spacers are made from aluminium and could be stripped very easily. Especially when using air tools. Id avoid them

Don't buy any spacers or wheel bolts from creation motorsport, they are made of cheese. And the people who work there are *****.

Bolt through is generally up to around 18mm, anything over that would be bolt on.

Both safe as long as you stick with a good quality brand that is hubcentric with the correct length bolts.

What are the best size to go for when running standard wheels? I was going to go 15 mm front and 20 mm rear or would 15 all round look good or 15 and 18???? I had a look on your website Damien and when I know what size I'm after I will be ordering off of you

A lot of it is down to personal choice and how you actually want the wheels to sit.

A popular choice though is 15mm front and 20mm rear on standard VRS wheels.

Thanks
