Hi all,

I'm just about to order a VRS combi to replace my outgoing A6 avant sline and flicking through the brochure i can't see the option to order the 19" extreme wheels?

Are these available through Skoda or is it something seperate? It's a company car so sadly I don't get any interest from the money hungry showroom folk when i ask them questions.

Also, whats the crack with the apple connection? Is it a fixed connection in the ashtray area or actually a cable or sort?

You can order the wheels through Skoda but not as an option….It's a seperate purchase here in the UK

For the Apple connection, this has been covered in many recent threads but you have 3 choices:

Stream via Bluetooth (all head units (Bolero, Amundsen & Columbus) can do this.

For a wired connection, either:

Mitsumi option for the Bolero and Amundsen gives you a wired connection via a special cable.

or

The Columbus head unit has a direct wired connection via USB - no special cable required.

The general consensus seems to be not to bother with the Mitsumi and just use bluetooth. Bluetooth is more than capable of streaming audio up to 384kbits.
