VRS Delays

Featured Replies

Whilst having a separate discussion about my damaged car today at dealer (see separate post!)

He told me that previously VRS' accounted for 17% of all sales, with the Mk111 it is 32%.

Consequently the supply chain cannot cope with the model specific parts hence the slippage of provisional build weeks.

To give a little hope to people I would suspect the supply chain will adapt and the lead time will come back.

I will give Skoda their due here. The dealership where I have purchased mine (over 150 miles apart) told me exactly the same figures.

Sadly this information won't speed anything up but it is consistent.

It will all. Be worth the wait.

Just think you won't have to drive your shiny new car through all the muck/grit/salt that is currently in the roads!

Could be hard to find in the car park come summer though lol
