Hi all, took my mk1 fabia vrs in for a air con belt change around a month ago, all w as fine no problem. Came to it about 2 weeks ago started it up and i can hear a sqeeling coming from what I think is the fan belt? It doesn't just sqeel when ticking over it gets louder when I drive along, does anybody know what it could be? Sounds like the belt is bone dry!!

Maybe the tensioner bearing, you can remove the tensioner pulley, flip out the seals, clean and regrease it quite easily or replace it if the bearing's had it.

Sounds like a right job dude haha, apparently a guy who I take it to said it could be inter cooler pipe leaking or split? Which is leaking onto the belt? Don't know if that's true or not tho?!

Well if it turns out to be aircon pump I have just remove mine due to not using aircon plus save weight so will have the pump and rad for sale
