vibratechnics engine mounts

Featured Replies

is there a lot of cabin vibration with the mounts??? anyone running them???

There was in my smooth petrol engined type r so I imagine a diesel will be twice as bad lol.

Do they use the same firmness as a petrol type r mount then? I thought they'd use different mounts depending on application. My mate had them, dont remember them being awful tbh, but certainly stiffer than normal.

Not bad once bedded in, do NOT get the dogbone one though it'll shake your face off

The engine mounts are not too bad tbf as Matt said more vibrations then standard but what do you expect....

I agree with josh do not buy there dogbone mount it's bloody awful lol

I just added the upper gear box mount and the interior of the car vibrates at idle. You can feel it through you fingers on the steering wheel quiet harshly. My keys were rattling away in the ignition. Driving through heavy traffic earlier I found myself feeling a little irritated by it because I kept having to stop. I hope it gets better with time. On the fly, it is great, as gear change at speed has really improved, so am going to stick with it.

As above, run them on the Fabia and it isn't as bad as JUST their dogbone mount on my Ibiza...

I plan to transfer all these to the Ibiza and errr get vibration white finger.
