Speakers gone

Featured Replies

Hi all,

i need to replace the speakers in the wifes car, but can seem to find any aftermarket ones that are a "direct" replacement.

i have seen that you can fit ones using wooden rings but cant seem to find the size of the speakers required

please help

When I bought my Superb, the passenger side woofer speaker wasn't working. I replaced it with a genuine VAG speaker, the part number for which is 1T0035411AB (the original part number was 3B0035411G but it has been superseded I think). They cost in the region of £15. If your speakers are just broken and you aren't specifically wanting to upgrade, I suggest this is the easiest option for you.

Be aware that if your car has a separate amplifier in the boot, you probably need a different speaker. I suggest you pop the door card off, remove the speaker and check the part number on the back.

If wanting to upgrade this guide by Cown may help you:
