Top strut mount help please

Featured Replies

Right, I am new to this so not sure where to start this post.

I have an 01 Skoda fabia had a terrible creak/squeak from front drivers side. Garage have change top strut mount and bearing on drivers side seems to have solved problem they say but now there's a knocking and think it could be the caliper or drum on drivers side

They had it up on ramps as I turned up to the garage and was getting corrosion off the disc to see if this helped but no it hasn't

Anyone else had this trouble when top mount has been replaced and are they along the right lines thinking this clonking noise is the caliper/drum

Please help, fed up and running out of money and solutions to these endless noises

I have got possible solutions for people who need help with epc light, engine management light and steering light staying on

Drop links can clonk, especially over smaller bumps and lumps on the road.
