Speedo Lights Problem

Featured Replies

Part of my speedo light has decided to go off (see pic). Anyone else have/had this problem? Whilst driving they went off then back on a few times over a period of about 30 odd minutes, then stayed off :(

I'm guessing that you can't just pop in a second hand speedo.

why. Just replace the bulbs :)

At night just stick to residential areas and you will be fine ;)

Erm sounds like darkhero will be your best bet ;)

Thanks for all the replies. I managed to find a couple of threads about the LEDS's for the dash, and it appears to be a case of carful soldering to replace the duff ones with new. Will have to give it some thought as to what route I want to take, if any, about getting a repair done.

Thanks again all

Yes careful soldering can replace them. Just 1 led failing cancause an area to fail. It could also be a dry solder joint. If you are going to resolved them just be careful to Mark which way the LEDs face

Thanks for that.

I can still see what speed I'm going for the moment, so it's not too bad for now. If the whole dial goes off, then I will have to get it sorted. I may send it some place like Cluster Repairs uk rather than chance it myself though.
