I've had water getting into my car for a little while but it's usually only happens when i clean the car using a pressure washer or hose pipe gun, so i've never worried about it until today when i've finally diagnosed why it's happening.

 

Basically I think the seal has perished enough to let water bypass it. I think it's the outer seal, the one that goes around the top of both doors, not the inner seal that goes around each individual door if that makes sense.

 

My question is where is the best place to source one i've had a little look but i'm always worried I might order the wrong one.

I'd prefer quality, something that I know will last rather than just a cheap pattern part.

The usual problem with the Mk1 Fabia is water ingress through the window carrier on the rear doors. A simple fix is to remove the door cards and use sealant on the carrier panel.

It's defiantly coming from the top of the door as I get water on my seats. Front and back passenger side only.
