revo stage 2 ecu sarga sorted

Featured Replies

The seller has contacted me today and the money has been sent back to me.

Confidence restored lol...

After speaking to a mate of his, turns out the ecu came off an early car an  mine is an 03 plate.. So his mate tells him there may be a difference in coding.

Also, he tells me his Facebook was deactivated due to family drama, but I'm sure everyone can see  how it looked from my end and he understood when I told him on the phone.

Anyway, he has refunded my money, and I have to come on here and set the record straight..

I flew off the handle, I lost my head.. But only because it looked as though I'd been done.

Not the case, everything is ok now and he will have this coding thing checked out when he receives the ecu back.

So I guess I awt to apologise for some of the things I said and put it all down to the seller not quite understanding before selling and myself for jumpin the gun lol

Cheers

Glad you got it sorted and hopefully you can get it remapped soon.

so...... not going to burn anything now?

You got your money back so drama over. There's a good tuner called Chris Hughes (Total Tuning) in Pontypridd if you still want to get a remap.

Glad to hear it mate - feels so good when something going so wrong turns out so right - kudos to the seller for doing the refund too.

Lol I aim to please haha

He only charges about £150. I've had a couple of remaps from him in the past, which he's fine tuned to my requirements. No rolling road so no print outs. I think the only tuner in Sth Wales with a rolling road is Got Boost down Swansea way.

If your going that way then go to Badger 5 in Gloucester

Haha.. Excellent.. He probably read how you were going to come round his house and sauté his nuts with a bow torch and he bottled it and sent your money back.

How much is he Dave?

What was wrong with the ecu?

Didn't it work?

No mate.. just turned over no fuel no spark

Silly question...

Did you link the immobiliser up?

Another thing...

Revo codes are linked to the immobiliser and if you try and recode it,it will run the std map..

The only way round it,is to change the clocks and transponder.

(Not sure if the octy is immobiliser 2 or 3?)
