this is my family sedan .. in a few years .. a little upgraded

 

a little story of my project

 

 

2006/8
purchased new (equipment .. tour)
nothing special..1.9tdi ALH 90hp
Manual AC .. remote central locking
.. Electric front windows.

first upgrade after few days:DEH piooner 5800 with front and back speakers (crunch GP62c and CDS 52cx)

china front speakers go..out..tires disaster (matador elite2..after 10kkm a changed with michelin pilot premacy) safety first..I have a family.

two years nothing..and..i started.

first remaping engine..because..i want a little more than this

stock oem 190km/h or 13sek 0-100km/h

2008/10 (halloween)

dyno says:

 

results is fantastic..no more blocked on 4200rpm and more engine power

and funny video with my friends..flying start (in reality ... he was always faster 3:1)

 

interior is completly in led bulbs with (no)oem armrest

also i buy oem deflectors

skirts for protection

2009/1

i replaced oem bulbs with philips xtreme power bulbs..also buy philips blue vision w5w. (today i have allways the best bulbs in market)

and the small yellow indicator light is thrown away..from winks...i buy sillver.

I was checking your posts, Nice ride you have   ,  i saw that you have done a remapp of Ecu in your octavia mk1,

 

Did you made it in Zagreb? how much it costed and what are the results comparing to oem default ,

yes..in Zagreb 2008 about 250€ remaping ecu

 

stock oem 90hp 210nm 0-100 13sek top speed 190,195km/h (gps 182)

 

chip on 118,3/122,2hp or +22kw  255,7nm 0-100 cca 9,5sek top speed 210km/h (gps201,2)

 

it could have been more power ... but not very healthy for the engine and axles and Transmission.

important to me among the acceleration..when I need.

 

cca 70 000 with chip..ok

consumption fell by 0.5 l .. and the car does not smoke when squeezed pedal to the metal

since when I have a car ... the first thing I changed were the bulbs.
Factory were quite poor .. with yellows in the beacon.

I've always taken the best on the market .. regardless of short lifetime.
small comparison

 

first two sets: philips extreme (+80)

life time about 12 - 15 months (excellent long beam)

 

than:

philips extreme vision ...too short lifetime due to the declared bulbs.

but...better fallen light of Philips Extreme .. more light in width

 

...and i try bosch +90

 

great bulbs that are closest to Xenon

low beam

long beam

blic-together

 

 

 

after 19 months ... one is burned out (low beam)

long it lasted... great

 

one comparison H4 bulbs

philips extreme vision(13,8mm) VS bosch +90 (16mm)

 

I am now in doubt?

whether to take back the Bosch +90 again

 

or try OSRAM Night Braker unlimeted?

I have boch lamps , and they are very strong and long time durable,

yes..i now..excellent power bulbs.

but the price is too much vs osram nb unlimited.

after philips extreme power bulbs..bosch +90...i try with osram nb unlimited.

next week..will se

btw. i watch news..and the weather in England ..London..disaster :(

I hope will beter..and Skoda owners will be safe.

In Croatia.Zg..two days is raining..like good have a mini wash.
