Fabia vrs mk1 oil leak and droning sound when driving

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm Aaron I've just bought my Fabia vrs I had a Octavia a couple of years ago but had to sell as I was buying a house but missed it ever since so I've now got a Fabia as a bit more economical and fast but had a bit of a rough start i only had it a day got a mate to take it for a spin down the bypass and pop blk smoke thought oh **** got another wrong un got home as was only a min away and my boost pipe had popped out, forgot to mention had new turbo fitted so clipped that back in and was ok but my oil level just kept dropping to the point where I couldn't drive it also I've got this droning sound louder at low speeds then louder at around 50 obvious thought bearings but someone said it could be tyres but they all look pretty good plenty of tread so a bit miffed it's been towed back to where I got it but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas and should I be worried lol

DRONING NOISE EITHER TYRES OR WHEEL BEARINGS AS FOR YOUR OIL IT COULD BE ANYTHING FROM A FAULTY TURBO OR POOR ENGINE

When you say oil leak, how much are you using and over how many miles? I've had to top up 500ml over close to 10k miles and that's normal.
