Decided to buy some paint, and then give get the car wash. Well you can tell by the photo that I now have my very own passenger side paddling pool. The water just flooded in from behind the glove box. I’ve had this problem before in the past with rain etc. but this is the worse it has ever been. Thought I was on top of the problem too :(

 

This is not so much a cry for help, more me just having a moan

B&Q paint is crap. I'd have bought Dulux myself. HTH

Heath, check the scuttle drain. Might need to take of a panel (get new plastic pins) and remove wipers to do it

On the plus side, B&Q have a no quibble returns policy.. I once bought 4 cans of the same Colours range which were on offer (Buy 1, Get 1 half price), only used 1 and returned the other 3. As I didn't have a receipt and it was obviously from B&Q (as it's branded) they gave me full price for the paint..

 

 

Although SWMBO almost blew it - She turned round and said "But didn't we get them...", I butted in with " 2 weeks ago, yeh.." knowing full well the offer was on the previous week only when purchased.

 

 Quids in.. 

 

If anyone works for B&Q - this never really happened..

Yup, buy 5 litres of B&Q white emulsion, use no more than 1-inch out of top of the can to paint the bits required, put lid back on, take can back to B&Q, and receive a full refund.  Easy
