Sonax Gummi Pfleger Rubber Care

Featured Replies

Hi guy's,

I've just brought some Gummi Pfleger as stated in the title and I'm after a bit of advice on what to do and what not to do.

I remember reading on here that it's not to be used on the outside, but I've also read/seen some conflicting advice that it's ok to use it on the outside.

So now I'm a little unsure. Anybody got some experience and wisdom to pass on?

Cheers.

Apply it to internal rubber door seals and wipe off the excess with a cloth

Do not use on external rubber

Ok! But may I ask why? It is always better to know why.

It's water based and is not designed for external rubber

What exactly does it do, Chris? Only I find I can hear the drivers door rubbers rubbing against each other as I drive along...will it stop that? Also, is there another product that will achieve that...the stuff in the OP's question sounds difficult to get hold of.

Many thanks

Mike.

Thanks, Chris.

Lubrication Mike...It should nourish the rubber and protect it from deteriorating

Its easy to buy

I've just seen that CYC does it, though its a Sonax product of the same name...is cheaper...and out of stock!!!

Great stuff ..... i use it regularly.... plus it smells great too!

I got it from Amazon chap, it cost £8 something inc delivery.

I personally prefer Amazon. It's easier, safer and i've never had a problem with them to date. Each to their own though.
