Cost per mile since 2010

Featured Replies

Today I updated my Spiritmonitor fuel logging thing at the end of my signature since I have had the receipts from August 2013 to now to put into the computer.

Then I clicked on the Cost Analysis from Nov 2010 to today.  I spent £437 on a winter tyre set, £16 on front wipers, £149 on a service, £62 on the D-pillar trim and to shorten the exhaust, £59 on LED DRLs and £5,750 on diesel.

That gives me £0.21 a mile.

Excludes depreciation of course.  But have to say I really cannot complain about 20p a mile.     Excellent car.  I would have preferred 45mpg average (as I had rain or shine in my Audi) but hey ho, I pay for the joy of my car being relatively powerful and having the DSG, in fuel consumption.

Unfortunately my Math is restricted to decimal, 5 fingers on one hand........................ :hi:

Hi 900000, great idea keeping ALL the costs.

I've never done that but, will start now.

Thanks.

You have way too much time on your hands Johann!

Interesting stats though.

Ha. The software does it for you. I've not done much apart from just putting the fuel data in. And adding the service costs is easy enough too.
