I have a 2005 Fabia vrs... 1.9 diesel, I started my car fine today... but when I got home I needed to pop out again, when I put my key in the ignition it cam on but then I couldnt turn my key any more...... cant seem to work out what It could be.

Rock the steering wheel both ways, it's against the stop lock.

I've also had this; the key just won't turn at all.  I squirted a drop of WD40 into the ignition switch, and then some onto the key, it freed up in no time and has been silky smooth ever since.  I think the ignition switch gets filled up with grunt n' fluff over time when the key is continually transferred from your trouser pocket to the key hole.  I've had no problems since.
