I have had my silver Superb 130tdi Comfort for two weeks now and I am very impressed. Children have grown up, other half has her own car and I was pleasing no one but myself. I found it in the forecourt of our local Arnold Clark, pre registered by their leasing div by mistake - one too many of a batch apparently. The price was almost unbelievable, well under what Parkers quoted for a car with average miles and this was on delivery miles.

I had tried the Primera tdci for a weekend. It went like the wind and kicked you in the back if you prodded the pedal too hard but to be honest I just didn't like it. It was clunky. The Superb is almost as fast but it wafts you . It has refinement. It also sips the juice - I haven't fuelled it since the first time and I am looking forward to finding out if the consumption is really what the computer says. In addition, it's comfortable and has a great stereo. Plus it has lots of gizmos I haven't found yet.

The only thing wrong so far is the umbrella is missing. But my wife bought one the other day so there is now a brolly in the space. I won't ever use it but it's a cool thing to have the space for it.
