Not quite a skoda but my mums 2004 ibiza 1.4 petrol keeps going in to limp mode any ideas

Have you had it scanned for fault codes?

So it limps home,then what? Runs OK next time? What symptoms occur when limp home starts, misfire,stall,etc etc. Any other dash lights? 

Yeah goes in to limp mode then it's fine for few days think she called aa now. it's apparently a vehicle speed sensor

Easy DIY job??
