Silly question perhaps but do UK spec regular (i.e not vRS) cars still come with the TSi/TDi tech badging on the bottom right of the tailgate?

Saw that some recent TSi's hadnt and wondered if it were a build error or if Skoda had done away with it.

Some do and some don't and I think it depends on the date they went down the production line. Our WK03/14 just has a 4x4 badge without one for the engine type/output; have also seen some 4x4's without any badging other than make and model.

Only SKODA on left side and OCTAVIA on right looks neat and with the angular swage lines by the number plate gives the tailgate a neat and unclutered look.

Metalic silver, sunset glass and high gloss rear bumper protector is all it needs a ' TDi' and 'Eligance' badge would be so yesterday.

Doesnt bother me either way to be fair was just wondering if anyone knew the gospel on it.

My week 45 Octavia has no TSI badge, earlier on there was a thread asking a similar question.

I think that's the case in most of Europe, but we live under the 'Skoda UK dictatorship' so we get what we're given.
