Hey all

 

I'm trying to fit a Brink wiring kit to my 58 plate pre-FL Octy II.

 

Fuse wires fitted and fuse added to the box. However, there are two canbus wires (black and yellow), but where exactly do these connect?

 

There is a harness of wires at the back of the pedals, but does anyone know which ones I connect the wires to?

You'll need to connect to the CAN wiring already fitted.

 

There are various colours. The one I have used is the orange brown/orange white twisted pair that runs to the CAN gateway above the driver's foot.

 

I accessed it from the scuttle panel by removing the wiper arm and passing the wires up.

 

There is also a possibility of connecting to the Xenon lights (if you have them).

 

I'm sure there are other places, thats just the one I have used.

Do you recall which colour wires you connected the Brink ones to, specifically?

 

Sadly, I don't have xenon lights.

It wasn't a Brink one that I used, but the CAN wires on the car should be the same colour: Orange twisted pair

 

Orange / Brown = CAN low

Orange / Black = CAN high (I previously said white, but that was wrong. It should be black)
