Welcome Chris, I'm glad you found your way here! "Warrior" (my nickname for it the car!) looks lovely by the seaside.

Make & Model: 2013 Skoda Octavia hatchback. 2.0L TDI 150bhp. Elegance. Diesel. Manual. Price is based on car being sold with original 17” silver alloys. Price with 7 month old 18” Vega alloys is an additional £500 (the Vega alloys and Goodyear tyres were £1100!). Colour: Metallic Race Blue Mileage: 91000 Price: £6750 Currently sat on 18” genuine Skoda “Vega” alloys with Goodyear Eagle A1 Asymmetric tyres (installed May 2021, so loads of tread left on all 4). All 4 alloys have Gyeon Rim ceramic coating protection. As mentioned above, these are available for an additional £500. Description: Two keys. MOT until 27/02/22. Cheap tax - £30 a year. No outstanding finance. I bought this car almost a year ago (on 83,500 miles) as a stop gap, whilst I restored a mk1 Octavia. I needed something reliable and comfortable for up to 6 months for my commute, but it was such a lovely motor I was in no rush to get my mk1 up and running! Car has been very well maintained and cared for by a member of the Skoda Owners Club. It has never wanted for anything. Viewings (no groups) and test drives welcome (upon proof of insurance). Condition: Excellent. The interior is immaculate and the exterior, minus a few marks, is superb for a car of its age and miles. Bad points; · Some stone chips. To be expected for a car of its age, which has done most of its mileage on the motorway. · A few marks on the body. Again, nothing out of line with a car of its age. · Original alloys have a few scuffs and need two new tyres. Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: Full service history and stack of receipts. Timing belt and water pump changed (Truscotts Skoda in 2019 @ 70,000 miles) Detachable towbar (installed by Murray Skoda in 2017 @ £450) New front dampers and top mounts (October 2021) Recent rear brake pads. Extras: Huge spec – was a former demonstrator model, so almost all options were chosen. · Columbus infotainment system (Sat Nav, Dab, Bluetooth). · Heated front seats. · Heated front screen. · Panoramic sunroof. · Detachable towbar. · Parking assist, with front, rear and side sensors. · Wireless charging. · Bi-xenon headlights. · Cornering fog lights. · LED daytime running lights. · LED rear lights. · Boot mat. · Boot net system. Mods: Interior LED lights. Standard on Elegance models; · 17” Terron alloy wheels. · Half leather, half alcantara seats. · Climate control. · Cruise control. · Stop/Start system. · Hill start assist. · Front and rear parking sensors. · Folding and heated electric door mirrors. · Colour MAXI dot trip computer. · Light assist (auto beam dipping). · Telescopic front headlight washers. · ESP. · ABS. · Power steering. · CD player. · Front, passenger, knee and side airbags. · ISOFIX points. · Alarm. · Central locking. · Front armrest. · Rear centre armrest with cupholders. · Multi-function steering wheel. Pictures: More available on request With original alloys:

I actually took them to the coaters yesterday. I'll post pics when they return ( couple of weeks).

I think white wheels would look amazing on a yellow vRS. I've considered it myself quite a few times! Here's mine. I absolutely love this car!

I do! Doh, I missed it off! Hey Mike. I don't use a drying aid, but I'm fortunate to live in a soft water area. If I still lived in Suffolk, I definitely would do! Spotting and streaking was a nightmare, there, especially in summer. You could barely do a full panel of contact wash without having to jet blast it and dry before moving on. Cheers

Hey all I've changed up my routine a little, based on some tips I've picked up (from random YouTube vids and the Detailing Central group on Facebook). Process (new in BOLD, removed stage strike out) Jet wash alloys, wheel arches and cills Spray alloys with AutoGlym Custom Wheel Cleaner & contact clean with Gyeon wheel brush Jet wash to rinse wheels Jet wash to loosen dirt up on body Snow foam (AD purple velvet) Jet wash rinse 2 bucket method wash (Sonax gloss - still using this and liking it. Exceptional value) Alloy clean (Gtechniq W6 Iron & General Fallout Remover then a general wash with the remaining Sonax shampoo) Dry (my trusty 10 year old woolly mammoth towel. Still going strong) Tyre dressing (AutoGlym Tyre Gel). Here's "Warrior" later on that evening, shining even on a dull day. I'm still loving the Vega alloys, they really suit this car and colour I think. Cheers

Dragon green. Best colour ever! -
Good tip, cheers. Did it knacker the soldering iron doing that?

Electric seats in Mk1 Octavia

I'm pretty sure that's a retrofit. They weren't an option listed in the UK brochure, to my knowledge, but I guess they could have been offered in other regions and added to a RHD car afterwards. -
I'm currently taking apart door cards and trying to solve the sagging problem. Eventually I'll have to get around to reattaching the centre section and, if I find a solution, I'll report it back here!

Whilst true in most circumstances, I'm not sure how many people have the set up to redo plastic welds!

Exactly. It might not be my daily, but it'll be driven at least weekly. The gloss white powder coat finish looks absolutely great too!
