HI, 

I have always found replacing the battery clamp and bolt awkward, could do with 3 hands.

After all these years, today i replaced my charged battery, put the clamp in position, went to start the bolt, DROPPED IT !!!

It was pouring outside i normally get some blu tack on the socket to hold the bolt in, didn't do it and paying for it.

My question silly as it may seem, i heard it drop and hit the metalwork, cannot see it at all

Anyone got any ideas please

If you have a magnet lying around the house tape it onto a bit of long flexible plastic something and basically go fishing for it, if you know what i mean. 

It could be lying on the undertray.

 

Bit of a pain to take it off tbh but it might be the only way.
