Williams Ceramic Coat

Featured Replies

Not wanting to pay the dealer for one of these magic car protection coatings I have bought a Williams Ceramic Coat protection pack of Ebay BUT while it came complete there are no preparation/application instructions with it and the seller has gone very quiet.

I know I can chase this through Ebay/Paypal but it was a good deal and I would like to try it.

The problem is there seem to be several similar types of coating available and they all seem to need different paint preparation, application and curing times.

Does anyone have a set of instructions specific to the Williams Ceramic Coat product

It's a re-labelling of G3 Glasscoat - so try googling application instructions for that :)

I have some...Its a rebranded product called 'Ixtar G3 Glass Coat'

Did you get the Cleaner fluid with it?..

The paintwork has to be totally free of any product or it will not bond..so squeaky clean paintwork is a must

It should be applied very sparingly with a make up remover pad or lint free pad and given a very light wipe with a MF cloth before it dries.

It activates quickly...so only a panel at a time

It should not be got wet for at least 12 hours afterwards...so a good day or Garage application above 10c is recommended

Make sure you have a good light source when applying so you can spot any high points/streaking.
