getting re map this week with egr mapped out will leave in place but want to blang egr and manifold wheres best place and price for plates and gaskets ?

Darkside developements sell them. But ebay might be cheaper, i was told that its a common shaped blanking plate.

I have 1 spare blanking plate if its any use

I was just going to blank it at the manifold and retain the rest so it looks factory fit.

From what i believe use your standard gasket

It should go

Manifold

Standard gasket

Blank

Corrugated metal Hose to egr

So all your doing is inserting a blank so no exhaust gases can flow.

And you can retain the standard look which will become important shortly as egr delete is an mot fail

Ive not read about egr delete being a fail, only decat and dpf removal.

Does anyone have any picyures of where the blank should go on a BLT?

Yeah,one on top of turbo and one on egr,if you go on darksides website you can buy a top hose from a polo that does not have the pipe for the egr cooler so you can remove if completely

Does the blank go in the same place as the 9mm hesitation gasket then?
