Suspension for above

Featured Replies

I have not yet read fully all my instruction books for my Skoda purchased in November '13. But I wonder if some how one can alter the ride between hard [current] setting and soft as per US.

Some cars used to offer this feature.

The dealer has put the tyre pressure at the highest setting

Thanks if anyone can help

I think you'd need to change the suspension, the MKIII doesn't have adaptive suspension (I believe the Golf does but it's an option).

I'm assuming it's the vRS you are referring to with the hard ride?

The tyre pressures will make a big difference - make sure the pressures reflect the loading in the car, because the fully loaded pressures are very high.

Otherwise, there is no way to adjust the suspension settings, without getting aftermarket springs and or dampers.

Some makes/designs of tyre are better than others in this respect. I generally found Michelins more pliant that Dunlops, for example, but you'd want to be sure about your choice before you forked out.
