Need advice on my VRS

Featured Replies

1.20th January car was delivered to the dealership and because I have my own number plate DVLA cocked up the tax disc saying disabled instead of diesel. That put back me picking up car till the 30th Jan

2.30th jan big day arrived only to be told the the air bag light is coming on and after investigation could not pick my car up

3.Up to today no car changed the 2 parts sensor for air bag and ABS but still no joy getting really frustrated now and have decided to ring Skoda at Milton Keynes to lodge a formal complaint.

4.Told last night that it could be a software problem and will be downloading a 8 MB file which I'm told will take ages ????

I have had a courtesy car for 2 weeks and the dealership have been apologetic on the problems.

Hopefully today hope to see her but still disheartened on having a brand new car with all the faults detailed.

Any advice if I should be compensated for all the inconveince

Tough one,

Yes says the heart....

No says the head, let me explain why:

The DVLA messed up not Skoda, so not much you can do about that.

RE the airbag light, they will put it down to safety on for the issue on 30/01.

The 8mb file will not take ages unless they are still using dial-up down there lol, but I suspect that they will not prioritise this job but just can't say that.

You've been supplied with courtesy for 2 weeks, and although it's not ideal you're not putting the mileage on your vRS.

The most you could get out them is a wash or something like that.

Personally I would complain and hope for the best, but expect a polite FU from them.
