Dip in power

Featured Replies

Hi

I've recently carried out a service on my superb changing the oil and air filter and oil. Since I've changed I am now getting a dip in power before the turbo kicks in. I started car last night and drove approx 30 yards to my nearest junction onto main road. I saw a gap in the traffic and put my foot down for a quick exit but there was no power for a second then suddenly took of fat high speed.

I think it might be the oil I have chosen but can anyone advise please.

I am using Castrol GTX 5w30 EDGE fully synthetic. Which says on the bottle that it's suitable for Audi/VW

A guess but have you dislodged an air tube some where? Especially if it is only down on power as you said but no where else but others may have better suggestions.

Good luck.

That oil would be fine, so must be something else.
