It Lives, it breathes and it Flies again!

Featured Replies

Good, pleased the car lives again! I was paranoid about the engine after my turbo failed... but new turbo on and the car is better than ever! Its so nice when a broken car gets fixed, even if you feel like its going to break again!

Its true, to start with I did drive thinking it was going to break again !! thankfully it all seems to be ok and if anything better than before but that could be due to the fact for the last 8 weeks I have been driving a 1.4 Polo !!

I could also be that the turbo, when it went in for repair seemed to have a list of faults.

Anyway fingers crossed it continues to drive without any issues and I can enjoy it again.

I didnt think it would happen again but could not stop smiling all the way home - had forgotten how amazing it is.

Glad you are back on the road. :sun:

Yes it's been a while and my pockets are somewhat lighter but its good to have it back.

Glad to see the Jabba monster back on the road. I remember seeing this thing smoke out shark. Good times

How much was it in the end?

The garage bill was a couple of quid short of £2,000 and then there was the engine and turbo on top of that.

Try to forget about that now, just need to get back to enjoying it again

ouch.. its not even as though it was preventable by regular maintenance either.. its sadly just one of those things that happens
