Featured Replies

Tinted the lights tonight used some very cheap stuff as I'm not sure if I like the colour. So opinions please?

can't decide if I do saw this on a black octy and it looked great, but I think smoke tint would look better on a silver car. Either way I need to redo it as this stuff didn't go on very nice.

Sorry mate me no likey .....sometimes less is more !

The Lamin-X light smoke looks the dogs on most colours.

Silver doesn't really suit the yellow, as I think you've convinced yourself.

Thanks for this. I had considered doing the same but having seen it in the flesh now.... yeah that doesn't work.

Would work if there were seperate fogs and those were yellow and the rest stock, but not like this. Sorry.

Dont look right on a octy, ive seen this on a fabia and it looked sweet.. my octy is yellow and someone slaped on some dark smoked tints looks mint.. F@*king Sh*te job though... :punch:

Lol.

Thanks guys after looking this morning in the cold light of day I've decided to remove it. Bought the cheap stuff as I wasn't sure I'd like it, as I've said looked really good on a black octy, but I prefer the smoked look on a silver car. A least it's answered my question and hopefully helped anyone else who was thinking about yellow tint on a silver car.

Anybody recomend a tint to get easy to apply, good finish, etc?

Fly eyes?.. or good quality window tint if you have the right tools to stretch and trim the tint to fit your lights.

Got the fly eyes stuff on the rear lights but don't fancy it on the headlights. Won't window tint be a bit thin to use on the exterior ?

Cheap window tint .. yes. Good quality stuff .. No

My car has cheap crappy window tint on with a bubbly job done and it lasts through the cold weather we have had and even through jet washes at the local car wash.. if i get a chance i will re do them but untill then they wil have to do.
