Quick clean of the octy

Featured Replies

Had a quick go of my Vrs on the weekend as the weather was good.

Car was looking very sorry for its self as I hadn't cleaned it since last year.

Firstly I snow foamed using autobrite lance and magifoam

Wheels were then cleaned using demon shine wheel cleaner. Will be looking for a better product when I get around to ordering new wheels. Car was then cleaned using Dodo juice born to be mild shampoo and lambs wool mitt.

Exhaust was polished using AG metal polish and tyres dressed with Meg's endurance tyre shine.

Interior was also looking bad so gave it the once over and treated the seats to a little leather treatment

It's crying out to be detailed and once the weather breaks it will be the first thing on my list. Thanks for reading.

Very nice indeed....and the best colour

nice would love an interior like that in mine so much easier to keep clean than mine

They are really nice leather seats, make mine look so boring.

Good job on the car.

Looks great!

Indecently Keechy, you don't mention what Wax/Sealer you're using. (LSP)

No wax or sealer used Chris, Only a quick wash. Out of interest what wax/sealer do you use on yours?

Last time I only used auto finesse tripple, But soon will be in the market for a few new detailing products so will probably need a new wax/sealer, Tar remover, Iron out, polishing pads and wheel cleaner.

I do have colinite 476s IIRC. I havent used it yet on my octy. But I am under the impression that its a winter wax more than a wax to give shine and depth to the paint.

Shine and depth will be achieved with polishing first

Collinite is fine but the paint must be prepared well, then you will get a better finish and durability from your LSP
