Tony, Wigan, 56 plate Black VRS with black/white leather.... signing in to say hi!

Its my first Skoda, be gentle, however I've had experience of the ASZ before with 2 Golf Mk4's. Appreciate this is the Bacon Lettuce Tomato version :giggle: .

So far, ive chucked away the Green filter due to it being super clogged by the last owner not bothering to change it.... He had started to let the car fade a little, it needs discs and pads all round so i'll be going the Brembo route but not increasing in size (312), staying at 288's.

Front and rear braces are a priority, plus rear ARB. I'll get it to handle much better than my previous Golf. This car has a dyno of 161 bhp at Jabba... i'd say its not far off, i'm not totally convinced its been remapped as my Golf was 180hp and felt a little more nippier off the mark & mid range. The car has 95k on it, still healthy enough to 'map if it needs it. Slight chatter on idle from the DMF, but not sure if a SMF has been installed. Time will tell, when the clutch goes... lets hope thats not too soon, you never know with a used car.

I'll be constructive, ask for help when needed and also give it back when its required..

See you soon..
