Water ingress

Featured Replies

So my 4 month old Octavia is going into the garage for a third time. The is water getting into the tailgate. It's had 2 visits already which resulted in the seal round the high level brake light being replaced. But it has had no effect, so it back in again next week. Water is not getting into the boot compartment, so I think the boot seal is fine. But it drips out along the plastic trim on the tail gate when the boot is opened. I suspect the the rear window isn't bonded correctly at the top.

Has anybody else had a similar issue?

I don't have an answer, but I feel your pain. My vrs octy ii was awful for dampness. It amazes me that it's so difficult to stop water getting into a car in this day and age...
