Upgrading Octy speakers

Featured Replies

I have fitted a new HU to my Octy estate and upgraded the front speakers (TSA 171-C's).

It's now time to sort the rears and the tweeters, any suggestions/recommendations?

I am also going to fit a small sub under the drivers seat as I have no room in the boot, any tips for that?

Cheers guys

Have a look on the Pioneer site, they list speakers for exact fitments.

Sorry to say there is very little room under the seats for anything.

The Alpine active sub would be fine mounted on the side of the boot, works well apparently.

a few people make the small active subs that go under the seats. clarion do one i know but i have never experienced one myself.

as for the rear speakers there isn't much choice as they are a very awkward size, best bet is to talk to your local expert about them tbh.

jusyt had a look and found these 2

The Alpine is very good, if you can get one. Apparently they are in short supply.

Thanks, I will have a look there, looks like the only thing going under the seat is empty cans and my bluetooth headset.

Hows about the Kenwood KSC-SW1?, its pretty slim at 3.75 inches

It may well go under the back, but its depends on where you have your seat when your driving.

As far back as it goes and jacked up fairly high so there is quite a bit of room under there
