Fabia vrs SE spoiler

Featured Replies

Hi guys not long had my vrs and I've noticed a lot of people go on about the spoiler with lacquer peel. Will skoda still fix it under warranty ? Seen its a common problem or will I have to get it fixed myself ?

I fixed myself can't remember exactly how much think about 75 quid ish

Skoda should pay - go and ask.

Yeah that's what a was thinking briskodian. Don't mind paying for it but if skoda will then may as we'll let them so a can buy other goodies :)

Skoda will NOT pay.

I asked about mine less than 6 months ago. I also have a SE.

The spoiler is plastic so it is only covered by the 3 year paint cover. Not the 10 year corrosion as that is for metal panels only.

Agreed - due to my "loyal" service and previous purchases with Skoda they offered me 25% off the quote (they provided) to repaint the spoiler -

here's the good part - their quote was just over £400 !

I got it done locally for less than £100 and the job was brill.

Don't waste time contacting Skoda just source the best price locally.

I work for skoda, and I didn't go through them I went to a paint company which come out to do our, wheels, bumpers etc. he only charged me £50 but maybe becuase I know him
