Hi all and thanks for the many topics I've read over the past 2 months and have supported my first brand new car and Skoda purchase.

 

For those interested, I've gone for:

 

Octavia SE Hatch 1.4 TSI 140PS Manual UK

+ Exterior Black

+ Interior Black

+ Multi-Function Steering Wheel (Radio and Telephone Control)

+ Front Centre Armrest With Storage Area Within

+ Floor Mats

 

Week 8 - Ordered and went onto the system.

Week 12 - Currently showing build week.

Week 15 - Estimated pickup week.

 

A much better lead time than I was expecting.  I guess all those VRS builds they are sitting on is freeing up capacity.

I ordered a Race Blue 1.4TSI DSG estate on 13 February. Only extra is the spare wheel.  Provisional build week from the factory is week 20, so 13 weeks from order to build. Probably 16 weeks in total to actual delivery date.

 

To be fair the dealer did warn that Octavias are now usually 15-19 weeks from order to delivery due to demand.

Curious to see what mine comes back as when the order (via fleet) finally goes in as I've gone for a 1.4 DSG Race Blue Estate - Elegance with heated seats and towbar (factory prep, dealer fit).
