I need help with retrofit octavia vrs mk3 multifunction steering wheel as a replacement for my standard non multifunction steering wheel in skoda octavia mk3, what parts do I need? And steps for coding, as I have tried with my local Skoda shop and even changed the control module but still had no success in coding, appreciate your help here, many thanks.

Hi

I replaced my standard  non multifunction steering wheel  to a MFSW with DSG paddles on my O3 Elegance. That was plug and play! No coding needed.

Thanks!, I am glad it worked well for you, this however wasn't the case here and all the functions will not work!

Sorry Bellua, I am not sure I understand what u mean by a message and what is not possible, don't want to cause u any trouble, it's just that understanding the equipment will probably shed light on my problem. Many thanks in all cases

Hi everyone, i have got octavia mk3 2016 ambition. It doesn't have multifunction buttons. I'm not able to managed any volume change etc via steering whell. My octi's manual says there are 2 type of module.

1. Segment display without multifunction and segment display wit msfw button. (Mine is without mfsw with segment display)

2. Maxidot screen with mfsw

 

my question is if i understood whell there will be possibilty to add just mfsw on the steering wheell without change display.
