Both have a tmc box fitted ;p

The green would be a better setup as it sucks cold air front the front grille rather than have the intake located behind he battery. I think this is the green one you are referring to:

Not in production by hither looks of it.

The green car looks like it has a TMC box fitted too.

Where to get that model at a good price? link :)

Read he thread I linked to mate - you can't buy it anywhere.

Ahh yes I see it now tucked away - playing spot the TMC lol!

All i can say is the 'blue' setup works fine. The other is a custom build i believe. But from what i have found out. Not much air goes in through the standard inlet anyway. Its a bit awkward to get the piping in behind the battery tho. Not fitted to my current car though as its under warranty. The intake does make supercharger whine like a pig in the sausage queue though :-)

already sold at that link !!

Yes I know. Read that link again mate and you'll soon see that the induction kit in the green car was an early development carbon fibre item that wasn't continued on general sale. You can't buy one so I'd forget the green car as your only option is the plastic one pictured on the blue car!

In the official website of ITG induction kits all you see are as green car model, but I find for Fabia

The carbon fibre items shown on the website aren't available now for the Fabia II. End of.

If you want a new ITG maxogen for a Fabia II vRS then this is what you will need:

Sorry but I don't think I can help you beyond this!

Blue version will give more or less the same gains as Green setup.

The front slam panel intake offers minimal benefit

The area to the side of the battery is a high pressure zone for air and ITG designed it that way.

Gave circa 10bhp on mine and feeds lots of nice cold air to my remapped engine.

Good for near 215bhp

Heya,

That carbon ITG in that photo of my green vrs is infact a pre-production model of the ITG kit, IIRC, a very limited number where made in carbon with a custom inlet pipe bracket to bolt onto the front chassis plate. its a bit larger opening and the air travels directly into the pipe for the ram air effect. (old plastic inlet pipe bracket had its inlet facing the ground)

The plastic version is probably 5x cheaper to mass produce than the carbon variant, which makes sense if you can sell them at £300 a pop.

they sent you a link to this very thread?

ITG have obviously realised how awesome this thread is and now use it as technical advice for their customers...... Lol

i can confirm the shape of the funnel on my ITG airbox is very close to the battery. the polo gti version with the rotated filter will not fit without relocating the battery or at least rotating it 90deg as some people have done. (new battery mounts required)

fabianoh5n1 wrote a post a while back listing every item required to move battery to the boot.

The easiest would be smaller battery and strap it in to the existing cradle
