oil leak please help - Pic

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

New owner here of a Skoda Fabia VRS BLT 2006 model

I have only had the vehicle about a week and yesterday got my mechanic to get it up on the ramp to give it a good old inspection, one of the console bushes was split so have ordered a set from darkside developments ... Sorted

BUT I have noticed two oil leaks

1. From below EGR valve - Have ordered new gaskets from skoda so will strip, clean and replace, hopefully this should cure it

2. The lower rubber pipe (a boost pipe I think??) the one that connects to intercooler has an oil leak, im told by skoda this is common..... Is there any reinforced silicone pipe I can acquire to fix this once and for all?? PIC below...

Any help apprecaited

Very standard on these mate, they are like it on most I repair/ service at work. I believe forge do updated hoses. Otherwise replace inner seal/clip and clean. Most don't cause boost leaks but a few do. I think seals are only a few £'s so an easy fix really. Olly
