I know there a alarm...!!  Does anyone know what Alarm is fitted to the Mk 3 vRS...???

I believe it is cat1 from the factory.  I turned on the locking beep as well so it sounds like it has different security as well as it does not beep from standard.

Locking beep has been a staple thing since the MK2 Octavia, could be turned off and on with cars fitted with Maxidot.

I always have it on as its actually quite inoffensive and proves that the siren is working (its the alarm siren that produces the chirp).

On my Elegance that and the folding mirrors are perfect audio and visual indicators of having locked the car...quells my OCD repeatedly checking the door handle behaviour considerably!
