You turn the heated rear windscreen on in a New Octavia vRS. I know the dealer will sort it, only two days old, but anyone else had the same ?

Very odd.  Is it all channels or just FM or DAB?  Maybe weak signal taken below a threshold when you fire up the rear screen heater ?????
