Dashboard error messages-front light problem

Featured Replies

I bought a second hand Skoda Octavia SLX 2.0 year 2000.

There seems to be something wrong with the fuse panel since light doesn't turn off even after stopping the car. I had to disconnect battery to get it off. Anyone has an illustration of the fuse panel with the correct size. I don't have the manual.

The right/left light indicator doesn't work properly. It starts and stops in seconds. Does this have to do with the fuse as well?

I always get the service oil message -- How can I restart it. It doesn't restart even if I change oil.

Can I download the service/owner's manual anywhere?

Please help!

Which light is it?

Indicator could be the flasher unit built into the hazard switch.

Get a handbook from your dealer and it tells you how to re set the service indicator.

I checked the flasher. Cleaned it up then it worked fine.

Same for the main front light.

Dealer doesn't have copies for sale. Will see.

Thanks.
